Everything lovely, but isolated.

Exclusive access to private beach, Stunning coastal views from rooms, Well-maintained gardens with numerous seating options
The decor feels dated and could benefit from modern updates!!! Soundproofing needs improvement as noise from adjacent rooms disrupted relaxation!!! Some bathroom amenities are lacking and don’t meet expectations for the price!!!

excellent access to stunning beaches and scenic gardens
We enjoyed our stay, with great access to Carne Beach just a short walk away and tranquil moments in the Poppy Cottage Garden, which added to the charm of our weekend getaway. the hotel also had very nice rooms with comfy beds that made our experience relaxing.

The location is stunning and my seaview room was comfortable and clean. The mattress was a bit too soft for my preference, which led to a less restful sleep, and having no blinds made the room uncomfortably warm during the night. Leah, who handled both reception and dining duties, was exceptionally helpful and a true asset to the team.

Couple's getaway with great moments
We really enjoyed our stay particularly the amazing views from our sea view room. The staff were cute and, which is something you don’t always find. The breakfast was really great with fresh ingredients that you could taste. We also loved the private patio area where we could relax and unwind after a busy day.
It wasn't cheap but honestly worth every penny for the experience we had.

Breathtaking views from the Superior Double Room with Sea View completely stole the show, letting the ocean be your backdrop. The room itself, while not extravagant, provided a cozy space to unwind after days of exploring the scenic beaches nearby.
Despite the alluring scenery, cleanliness was a sore point. cobwebs in corners and spiders lurking in the room created an unsettling atmosphere. Dining options were limited as there are no restaurants on-site anymore, making it necessary to venture out for meals, which felt inconvenient for a hotel pricing its rooms at a premium. The lack of staff presence was notable—no one at reception to answer questions or at least offer some basic service during our stay, leaving us feeling a bit abandoned.

Had a fab three-night stay in a lovely superior double room with a stunning sea view. The location was a postcard come to life and the food? Absolutely delightful! Such a cozy vibe too!
But the musty smell in the room was a bit of a party pooper. I mean, who needs a spa when you can have the aroma of long-lost socks?
